Anyone can easily make comics by combining different materials!
Combine, edit, reshape, or color the materials…
Use your imagination and have fun.
Individuals and businesses can use the comics they create for any purpose, subject to the rules below.
You can post them on your website or social media, print and distribute them, or turn them into videos.
However, we cannot accept responsibility for problems arising from comics created with these materials.

Copyright in the materials distributed by Manga Materials belongs to Kakuya Co., Ltd.
Copyright is not transferred, even if you change a material beyond recognition.
(The person making the changes may hold copyright in their derivative work.)
How Manga Materials began
There are many free illustration sites, but we wished there were more sites offering materials for making comics.
While creating a comic for a government organization (Kakuya usually creates advertising comics),
we drew simple stick-figure background characters. The client loved them and said, ‘These are great!’
That was the beginning of Mame.
We realized that simple background characters without a strong individual identity can be useful in many situations.
There are many apps and services for making comics,
but we wanted to offer simple comics that even people who do not normally draw can create by putting pieces together like a puzzle.
Making comics part of everyday life
That is the kind of site we are working to build.
